The training takes place in a community-based setting, and there is no experience required.
There is a cost for the Memphis Family Teacher Training course and the Memphis Educator Training program.
To apply for the program, you will need to be able understand the basic concepts of psychology and have a Bachelor’s degree.
The process for being hired as a Memphis Parent Trainer is not too complex.
You will first complete an application, and then you will be contacted by an in-person interviewer.
After being contacted, the interview will begin with an in depth discussion of your background and what you can bring in as a child psychologist.
The interview will focus on how you can contribute to a positive and supportive environment for your child.
You may also be required to take a background check, but you can complete the required paperwork as long as you have passed the background check.
The results of the interview are reviewed by an expert in the field who will then assess your ability to contribute and develop the skills you need as a professional child psychologist in the Memphis family.
This training is not only an opportunity to learn and develop a child-centric understanding of children, it also provides an opportunity for you to connect with people from all walks of life, including parents, grandparents, and other caregivers.
